With 37 branches serving corporates and retail clients worldwide, NovaStar has been continuously strengthening our innovation, manufacturing, and support capability. Our product line ranges from LED display synchronous control systems, LED display point-to-point calibration systems to cloud-based management services. We have proudly served both corporate and retail clients ranging from the Beijing 2008 Olympic opening ceremony, concerts to digital advertising signage. Time Line

  • 2008

  • First generation of NovaStar’s Synchronous Control system N100 was installed on the 3,400 ㎡ main screen on Morgan Plaza for 2008 Beijing Olympics.
    NovaStar Technology established in Xi’an, China, specializing in LED display synchronous control system.

  • 2009

  • NovaStar’s second generation synchronous control system N2 was launched in February.
    NovaStar provided complete package including control system and point-to-point calibration services for Beijing Dinghao Plaza’s 1,200 m2 giant-sized screen.
    NovaCLB brightness calibration system launched in December.

  • 2010

  • NovaCLB RBG color calibration system launched in December.
    NovaStar provided complete service and calibration for Turkey Central Stadium’s 800 m2 LED display.
    NovaStar was awarded “Excellent Innovative Company”.

  • 2011

  • NovaStar’s intellectual LED display control system was granted first place in Xi’an most advanced high-tech companies.
    New R&D, Customer Support and Sales branch was established in Shenzhen, China to better serve and support LED manufacturers.
    M3 Series launched in October, which established a solid basis for the future of Nova’s control system.

  • 2012

  • New branches was established in Beijing and Shanghai to better serve clients in south-east and north-east China.

  • 2013

  • NovaStar launched revolutionary asynchronous full-color control system with market applications in advertising and information sharing.
    Cloud-based control platform NovaCloud launched in June.

  • 2014

  • NCE – NovaStar Certified Engineer program launched
    NovaStar was recognized as “Top 50 Fastest Growing Company” according to Deloitte China.
    New branch locations established in Middle-east and South-east Asia.

  • 2015

  • Complete new line of products launched including NovaPro HD, V900, multimedia player and VP200, setting new standard and sales record for the industry.
    74 certified and registered distributer channels.
    Recognized as "Most Strategic Emerging Innovative Company".

  • 2016

  • NovaStar illuminated more than 20 LED displays for the 2016 Rio Olympic games.
    Novastar’s new product launch event was held in 7 different cities, attracted more than 1800 attendees.

  • 2017

  • November – Nova World Tour 2017 – USA – Launch event held in Atlanta.
    November – LED remote publishing and monitoring cloud solution is recognized as a 2017 “Outstanding Cloud Service Solution” by China’s  Information Technology Service Industry.

  • 2018

  • July – NovaStar supports match displays at the World Cup in Russia, helping viewers witness the victory of a new world champion.
    October – NovaStar’s VNNOX Cloud Publishing System receives authentication as a level-3 “Safe Information System” Product from the Ministry of Public Security, one of very few LED industry products to receive this authentication.

  • 2019

  • August – Nova World Tour 2019 – South Africa – Held the “NovaStar is There” launch event in Johannesburg, the first offline event in South Africa.
    July – Nova World Tour 2019 – Korea – Held “NovaStar is There” launch event in Seoul.

About the NovaPro UHD Jr
-With this all in one controller its very easy to configure a screen without need to use a computer , you can do it directly on the NovaPro UHD Jr -to scale an input just need to push the SCALE button and the source directly sized on the whole screen , this is very easy and quick -all screen files are stored in the NovaProUHD Jr , so you can easly find it . -Also on the lcd display you can see all information that you can need like see which Ethernet output port for led screen run on master or redundancy etc. -you can also use it like a presenter with the background option and 2 pip -we have ledscreen with A8S receiving cards, so we can use the low latency option when we do job with camera.
With this all in one controller the setup of ledscreen are very easy and quickly than before

In the early days of LED screen signal processing it was not uncommon for processors to max-out at 800x600 pixel resolution. While this was fine 20 years ago, it wasn’t long before customers needed 720p feeds to their screen or even (heaven forbid) the then cutting-edge 1080p signal.
For years, the only solution to this was to stack together multiple LED controllers and stich the image like a COVID isolation jigsaw from its component parts.
This all changed when NovaStar introduced some of the industry’s first “all in one box” HD processor solutions.
For the first time, devices like the MCTRL660 and Navigator-NV allowed a rock solid and simple way for customers to play HD and display HD without a lengthy  and costly programming kafuffle. Nova didn’t stop there though. Having become the industry leaders in HD single-box LED solutions, it didn’t take long before early prototypes of their 4k processors started appearing for Beta testing.
Now in 2020, it’s not uncommon for us to design and spec screens that may have 7680 horizontal pixels – a feat only recently made possible with the latest MCTRL  and Pro controllers.
All credit to NovaStar for being an innovative Chinese technology company who, uniquely,  listened to their customers.
As they listened, learned and launched products based on LED industry feedback, this has made NovaStar Technology the defacto, turn-to technology partner when your pixels need to glow clean and bright and line up just right.

Novastar Technology is, by far, the world's most innovative LED Screen Controller company. And the word technology must be underlined and noticed.
Nova surpassed the competition about 10 years ago, and has proven constantly to be at the very forefront of LED screen control.
Until Nova came out with LCT software, setting up and controlling LED screens were not as intuitive as it were possible. Nova has taken most of the super-nerd-stuff out of LED screen control – while still maintaining an almost one-system-fits-all strategy quite successfully.
It is for the vast majority of people, even people inside the LED screen industry, not properly recognized how hard, actually just about impossible, it is to make an LED control system that can work with virtually any pixel pitch, any number of pixels, any module size and any resolution that is thinkable in almost any combination thinkable. However, Nova constantly strives to reach this goal.
Do note, that reaching this goal is impossible simply because the goal constantly moves to a new, higher, more difficult position with an increasing number of pixels per area and increasing demand on resolution, linearity, functionality and quality in all aspects and any ratio.
However, Nova keeps striving. To me, it is sometimes mind-blowing to watch the achievements done by Nova. And just as Nova sets new standards for what is possible, I see new possibilities that keep the R&D busy. Because if X can be done, then Y must be possible as well.
Only very dedicated management and leadership can keep up this pace for more than a decade. It is really astonishing.
Having that said – no other company in the world supplies hardcore LED screen control products at the quality, versatility, and functionality – including state of the art calibration technology at this level. Nova is – by far- the best there is.
